What we hold

For a learner: an email address, a display name, which courses they started and finished, their scores, and any certificates issued. For an administrator: name, email, and a record of the actions they take.

Why

To deliver the course, to decide whether it was completed, and to issue and verify certificates. We do not sell data and we run no advertising or third-party analytics.

How long

Course records last as long as the organisation's account. Raw activity data expires after 90 days. Closing an account deletes its data within 30 days and destroys its encryption key.

Your rights

Learners can ask their organisation, or us, to remove their data. Requests are actioned and recorded. Issued certificates remain verifiable unless withdrawn.

Canada (ca-central-1). Email is sent through Amazon SES.
